This Returns & Exchanges Policy explains how The Covenant Workshop LLC handles returns, exchanges, and refunds for purchases made online and in person. If you have questions, please contact us at support@thecovenantworkshop.com

1. General Policy Overview

We want you to be happy with your purchase and understand that sometimes returns are necessary. Because many of our products are yarns, fiber goods, and curated kits, certain conditions apply to protect product quality and fairness.

This policy applies to both online purchases and in-person purchases, unless otherwise stated at the time of sale.

2. Eligible Returns

We accept returns of eligible items purchased online if:

  • The return request is made within 30 days of delivery

  • Items are unused, unwound, unwashed, and in original condition

  • Original tags, bands, or packaging are included.

Returned items must be suitable for resale.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange unless they arrive damaged or defective:

  • Sale or clearance items

  • Custom or special-order items

  • Wound, or partially used yarn

  • Digital products or downloadable files

  • Gift cards

Any exceptions will be clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.

4. In-Person Purchases (Pop-Ups & Short-Term Markets)

All purchases made at pop-up events, short-term markets, festivals, fairs, or other temporary in-person sales locations are final sale.

Returns or exchanges for in-person purchases are not accepted, except in cases where an item is damaged or defective at the time of purchase or delivery.

Customers are encouraged to inspect items carefully before completing an in-person purchase.

5. Exchanges

Exchanges are not available for in-person purchases.

For eligible online purchases, exchanges are subject to product availability and return eligibility requirements.

6. Return Process (Online Purchases)

To initiate a return or exchange:

  1. Contact us at support@thecovenantworkshop.com with your order number and reason for return

  2. Wait for confirmation and return instructions

  3. Ship the item back according to the instructions provided

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

7. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or sent in error

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law

We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for lost return shipments.

8. Damaged or Defective Items

We take care to ensure our products are packaged and presented in good condition. If you believe an item is damaged or defective, the following conditions apply.

Online Orders (Shipped Items)
If an item purchased online arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 14 days of delivery and include clear photos of the item and packaging. Timely notice helps us assist you promptly and, when applicable, work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue. Claims reported after this timeframe may be reviewed at our discretion.

In-Person Purchases
For items purchased at pop-up events, short-term markets, or other in-person locations, customers are encouraged to inspect items at the time of purchase. If a defect or damage is discovered, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible. We will review the situation and determine an appropriate resolution at our discretion.

Please do not discard damaged items or packaging until the issue has been reviewed, as this information may be required.

9. Resolution Options

When a return, exchange, or damage claim is approved, our resolution may include one of the following, at our discretion:

  • Replacement with the same item, if available

  • Exchange for a similar item of equal value, if the original item is no longer available

  • Refund of the original purchase price

Refunds do not include original shipping charges unless required by law.

Resolution options depend on product availability and the nature of the issue.

10. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address:

  • We may issue a refund minus shipping costs, or

  • Additional shipping charges may apply to resend the order

11. Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Refund processing times depend on your payment provider, and we do not control how quickly refunds are posted by banks or card issuers.

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
